Quick Vegan Nutella Mousse
In hot weather, there's nothing more tempting than a refreshing dessert. This Nutella mousse is very quick to prepare and will delight all the sweet tooths. Plus, it complements one of the star fruits of the season: strawberries.
INGREDIENTS FOR HOMEMADE NUTELLA:
- · 250g roasted hazelnuts
- · 250ml plant-based milk
- · 70g 80% cocoa
- · 1/2 cup Cal Valls agave syrup
- · 2 tsp coconut oil
- · 1 tsp vanilla extract
- · Pinch of salt
MOUSSE INGREDIENTS:
- · 160g Cal Valls aquafaba
- · 1 tsp xanthan gum
- · 120g homemade Nutella
PREPARATION:
- 1- Crush the hazelnuts until you get a buttery texture. Add the plant-based milk, cocoa, agave syrup, vanilla, and salt, and mix again until smooth.
- 2- Melt the chocolate with the coconut oil, add the mixture to the food processor, and blend until smooth. Reserve the homemade Nutella. 3- Whisk the aquafaba until white. Add the xanthan gum and continue whisking until very thick.
- 4- Incorporate the homemade Nutella you made earlier and mix everything well.
- 5- Serve in glasses and decorate as you like.
