VISIT FROM THE MINISTER FOR AGRICULTURE, LIVESTOCK, FISHERIES AND FOOD

Last Monday, the 2nd of November, we welcomed a very special visit to Cal Valls.

The Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food, Mr. Òscar Ordeig, visited us as a pioneering company in organic farming. He was accompanied by the Mayor of Vilanova de Bellpuig, Ms. M. Dolors Pascual, and by representatives of the Town Council and the Generalitat.

The whole Valls family was there, with Rubén as our main host, and our pillar, Manolo, who left the tractor behind for a day to join us. We toured the warehouse and the workshop to see how our products are made, and finished with a small Cal Valls tasting.

It was a real pleasure to share this moment and to be recognised for our more than 45 years of farming that has grown in a conscious way: we grow organically and biodynamically, we make our own vegetable preserves and juices, and we sell them ourselves, covering the entire agricultural chain.
